Dr. T.r. Yambot Is An Educator, Scholar, Researcher And The Founding Chair, Board Of Trustees Of The Fdm Vision Care Research And Training Institute. She Had Undergone International Training On Developmental And Intellectual Disabilities At The Civitan International Research Center And Spark’s Clinic At The University Of Alabama At Birmingham. She Had Participated In Specialty Trainings Of The Optometric Extension Program (oep) And The College Of Optometrists In Vision Development (covd), Both Usa Based. She Has Completed A Behavioral Optometry Course On Every Patient Every Day And Practical Vision Therapy Being Conducted By The Australian College Of Behavioral Optometrists (acbo). She Attended The Convention Of The Canadian Optometrists In Vision Therapy And Rehabilitation Which Highlighted On Neuro-optometry, And Completed A Course On Syntonic 101 Phototherapy Sponsored By The College Of Syntonic Optometry (cso). She Was A Department Of Education (deped) Consultant/trainer For The Development Of Instructional Materials For The Special Education National Program. She Was A Member Of The Department Of Health Executive Steering Committee For The National Prevention Of Blindness Project In The Philippines. She Was Awarded Outstanding Optometrist And Excellence Award As One Of The 10 Outstanding Health Professionals In The Philippines By The Professional Regulation Commission.
